As a psychotherapist, I believe that life is ever-changing, and learning to acknowledge and adapt to that change is an important part of our growth. While we cannot always control the challenges and circumstances we encounter, we can develop meaningful ways of responding to them. Through a supportive and nurturing therapeutic relationship, I work with individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
My goal as a therapist is to help clients identify the challenges they are facing while developing realistic, helpful, and empowering approaches for creating meaningful change. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and grounded in the client’s own values, goals, and definition of their best self. I strive to ensure that the support and guidance I provide remains aligned with what each client hopes to achieve, allowing their unique needs and experiences to guide both the therapeutic process and our goals together.
I am a psychotherapist with over 15 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, and families. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and went on to complete my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology (MSCP) at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
